Season 3 of Prison Break is scheduled to premiere on September 17, 2007; the first seventeen minutes of the season premiere were released on the official website on August 24, 2007. Series creator Paul Scheuring has commented that the third season will consist of most of the original cast with new additions and that the overall theme will be "redemption".
