The simple interface affords competitors the opportunity to become familiar with a tournament setting without leaving the familiar club environment.

The best way to use TKD Scorer Lite is by using an external monitor/television connected to a laptop/notebook computer. The external monitor faces the competitors and audience. Switch the laptop monitor mode to dual mode so the display is show on both the laptop's screen and the external monitor. Position 3 referees on the corners of the mat, and devise a simple scoring detection system. For example, a referee may hold up a blue flag or red flag when it is felt a point is scored. A 'marshal' then calls out the point so the data operator can enter the appropriate point.
