Updated fully every 12 months, the software interviews you and then it creates a customized version of the book (for your state), in HTML file format. The software also creates a customized business startup checklist for you and can administer an 'Entrepreneur's Self-Test' to help you determine how well suited you are to running your own business.

Since 1981, the "Starting and Operating a Business in...." book series, has been the standard tax/legal/practical guide to starting a business in any of the 50 states or D.C., until the print version ceased publication in 2003, and it was used as the standard reference in SBA offices in every state. The new electronic editions for all 50 states and D.C. have been FULLY REVISED AND UPDATED IN 2008 and 2009. EACH INCLUDES NEW FEDERAL TAX LEGISLATION and other 2008-9 law changes.

The prior print editions of this book series were chosen by Inc.
