Following on from our initial release, we decided to produce another screensaver based on the hand-drawn images that have been commissioned for our site. This time the screensaver consists of images that were originally hand-drawn from natural countryside landscapes. The style of the original pieces is one of pencil and chalk. Generally the outline shapes are rendered in pencil and any of the subtle coloring can be pencil and chalk.

Generally the outline shapes are rendered in pencil and any of the subtle coloring can be a combination of colored pencil and chalk.

This particular screensaver is designed to work well on Windows-based computer and couldn't be easier from an install point of view. Once you have down of the screensaver all you have to do is locate it and and double click on the icon to begin the installation process. Once installed, you be able to make settings changes to it by going to your screensaver menu. All you have to do is select it as your default option there and make any changes in terms of timing etc. that you feel are necessary. Once you have done so you will find that it activates itself after your default period of time and to be managed in exactly the same way as any other screensaver that came preinstalled when you originally got your machine.

We have compressed the images as much as possible to keep the download size reasonable. The quality of the images was an important consideration but with that in mind we have still managed to keep the download size of the file as small as possible so as to make it easily accessible to users with a dial-up connection.

All of the picture that you will see in the screensaver originally drawn from larger pieces and have been used in various ways on our web site and in our software products.
