A customer?s query, for example, can be registered in the call-center, executed by a service team, cleared by the administration and evaluated by the controlling division via Groupion. And this is only one of countless scenarios where comprehensive processes play an important role for a company?s overall success.

Currently Groupion offers four application packages, which contain email, task management, group calendar, file management as well as CRM and ERP functionality. The software is both available as an On-Demand version used via Internet, or as an In-House version installed on a local server. For this purpose, Groupion supports all modern server operating systems as well as four different databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MS SQL and Oracle).

Regarding customization, Groupion is using the iXML standard, which enables users to adapt and extend Groupion?s functionality in every fashionable way.

Groupion is offered as Software-as-a-Service with a monthly fee of ? 9.95 per user. Additionally, there are two free editions available: The Community Edition is intended for non-commercial institutions like public schools or associations and contains 50 free user licences. The Groupion Start-Up Edition is also available at no charge and comes with three free user licenses for all application modules and can also be used for commercial purposes.
